By reading the description they show you when you vote, some actually look ok… but when you read the actual wording of the change I was like woah… haha.

I would like to state that I do not equate the oppressions of Palestinians to the issue of hunting whales and dolphins as a response to Mr. Pinho’s comments on of the other recommended persons running for the MEC board.

As Peter has said we can limit our votes to one person to help ensure that she/he wins.

The only person who has taken a very clear position about boycotting Israeli goods, giving the reasoning that there are many other options, as well that there is no need to support governments that oppress, is Margie Parikh.

I did not find that either Mr. White or Pinho’s comments were all that reassuring.

Being on the MEC board (like being on the board of any large company) should require being politically knowledgeable and that means reading about what is really going on in the world and getting the most accurate information possible.
