In the wake of the disappearance of three Israeli settlers, Israel has escalated its brutal occupation in the form of massive raids and arrests, punitive housing demolitions, murders, and kidnappings carried out by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
Since the discovery of the three settler’s bodies, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other politicians have incited demands for revenge. As tensions worsen mobs of illegal Israeli settlers have taken to the streets, demanding “Death to Arabs.”
Settler terrorists have run over a 9-year-old girl, Sanabel Mohammed Tus, and kidnapped, tortured, murdered, and burned 17-year-old Mohammed Abu Khader in the most brutal ways imaginable. During Abu Khader’s funeral, his 15-year old cousin (a Palestinian-American) was brutally beaten to unconsciousness by three Israeli police and detained with no charge.
In addition to the names mentioned, hundreds of Palestinian youth have been “arrested” and upwards of 20 Palestinians killed.
Come join us on Wednesday and show your solidarity with the Palestinian people, and demand that our government end its complicity in these war crimes. It is our duty as Canadian citizens to protest our government’s appalling support of the illegal occupation, and demand an end to the violence.
Join us in solidarity with the Palestinian people to demand:
- Immediate release and protection of all detained Palestinian Children;
- Immediate end to Israeli Apartheid and racist policies towards the Palestinian people
- Immediate end to all raids, incursions, blockades and collective punishment of the Palestinian population
- Immediate action from the international community including Canada to condemn Israeli Settler terrorism, collective punishment and violence towards the Palestinian people
